What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Lyn Barrett Writing helps me make sense of the world and turn complicated thoughts into organized and manageable ideas. Instead of "I think, therefore, I am," for me it's "I write, therefore I think."

What are you currently working on?
Lyn Barrett I'm currently working on a conference presentation called Is Forgiveness the Goal? With luck (and divine inspiration), I will turn it into a book. I also have a meditation book for people with dissociative disorders on the docket.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Lyn Barrett My memoir, Crazy, is the story of my discovery of and recovery from dissociative identity disorder. Although I had long wanted to continue writing in retirement, I realized I couldn't write anything else until this story was told. It makes sense of my life and, hopefully, makes sense for others with DID and how their lives unfold.
