P.D. Ball By changing my environment. If I can't write, I shift focus to editing or I go to another room and write there. Or I go for a walk. Sometimes a beer will loosen up the words, but too much and you stop writing.
P.D. Ball Living and breathing in the worlds you create.
P.D. Ball Start now and don't listen to negative people. Readers want your stories. You're not writing for the negative people, you're writing for the people who will enjoy your words.
P.D. Ball I'm finishing up book 2 in the series. It will be titled, "They still call me Princess Cayce."

If that still doesn't work, have a beer.
P.D. Ball The first scene came to me as I was walking and I found it so compelling, I had to write it. After, the next scene demanded its time and so I wrote it and then the story appeared to me. I had little choice in the matter.
