I'm intentional about creating a space that is calm, quiet and organized. I can't write if the place I'm writing in is cluttered. I usually do something relaxing like taking a hot bath with candles and the lights off and allow myself to let go of any stress or worries of the day.

I began writing between the ages of 7-8 years old as a way to grapple with the sexual abuse and the suicidal mindset I developed as a result of the abuse. Writing has always provided me with an escape and it helps me to feel at peace.
