The most amazing thing happened when I realised 'writers block' is me, blocking me!
Trying to force a certain story, vibe or theme.
Chasing too hard when I knew where I thought I wanted to be with a story.
I have struggled with this (in varying hues and weights;) until... I realised that while I explore things I want to write about, if I just write the mood or the 'thunks' of the exact, unique moment (even if it's a few lines on the way I feel about being 'blocked') the dam bursts, and words, plot twists, characters, ideas, pro's, and themes can finally come flowing in from the hidden corners of my brain :) ...and amongst the debris, some of it is pretty good! :D x
