M.C. Kennedy I would go to Middle-Earth, where I would find Faramir and Eowyn's son and marry him (since his father is unavailable).
M.C. Kennedy It's a bit of a long story. About a year ago, I was researching names for a completely unrelated series and stumbled across the word "cochall." It was on an Irish name website, and the site said it meant "hood."
"Hm!" I thought to myself. "That would be a cool last name for a Little Red Riding Hood retelling." I then proceeded to look for Irish names meaning "red" or something similar. Soon, I found the name "Roisin (pronounced RO-sheen)," which means "Little Red Rose."
"HMMM!!!!" I thought to myself. "What if... I blended the stories of Little Red Riding Hood and Beauty and the Beast?"
And A Wolf's Rose was born.
A.G. Putnam I’m working on my first fantasy novel, The Wild Card. It’s an allegorical tale about five kings who set out to kill a dragon.
A.G. Putnam I think the best thing about being a writer is getting to explore so many different mindsets in people. Every character is his own person; it’s fascinating to see how each one reacts to various situations. I think it helps me understand people in the real world better.
