The inspiration for most of my books comes from my many years of experience in the brewing industry. However this is not the case for my latest novel, Doppelgänger. The idea for that story came about because a friend of my mother’s is a twin who was separated at birth from her sister. Despite growing up in the same town, neither of them knew about the others existence until one day when they walked past each other in the street.
