Practice makes perfect! When writing; Edit makes perfect! Write your first draft without overthinking. Get your story penned down. Read your story as if you are a reader reading it for the first time. Make notes and rewrite your story. Your first book will probably not be your debut novel, so write, write and write some more. Proofread at least three times before you even consider submitting, as no one will take you seriously if you submit a script that hasn't been polished.
