My most recent book is Tokyo Jazz and Other Stories...a collection of crime and literary stories. The title story Tokyo Jazz is about a missing Australian girl who was working in Tokyo as a hostess. Its a theme about strangers in a stange land.
Most of the other stories are set in Australia and I;ve been lucky enough to travel to most fo the places where I set the stories..
The stories are quite dark bit I think but there's also a dark, dry sense of humour too.

I'm looking to read a Sandi Wallace short story collection. Some more crime from Kiwi author Ben Sanders and audio books from George Pelecanos and Ian Rankin whose books I have read but lookig for the new audio experience.

I could slip into being a character in most crime books. But I enjoy the crime book set in Iceland by ARNALDUR INDRIÐASON so that would be a start.
