I love being a writer. So far, the best thing about being a writer is pushing myself to do the best job I can to provide a wonderful reading experience. I like to blur the lines between fiction and truth. When I get into my characters' heads, I become them, to write a story so convincing and compelling that you think it is true.

Build anticipation around your first book before it is published to establish followers. Then, getting reviews afterward should not be so difficult.

I love to tell a story. So many people often say to me, "Gosh, that's an amazing tale. You should write a book." And now that I am retired, I finally have time to devote to writing.

I have a contemporary book that I am currently working on that is approximately 75% complete. However, I still have some ideas to add, and then I will send this book to the subsequent phases - editor and cover design.
