Hiliary Amanda Switch to something else. If I get stuck in one project or story I have so many others that are in the pipeline that I can start working on something else and circle back when a new idea, or whatever stumbling block that I had run into in that particular story has ironed itself out in my mind.
Hiliary Amanda Getting to let your creativity flow. Seeing your characters come to life outside your head.
Hiliary Amanda Write, dream, plan, edit and write some more. I hear people say all the time, I have always wanted to write a book. There is literally nothing stopping anyone from writing. Don't have a computer buy a 99 cent notebook and get pen to paper. Obviously there is a lot more that goes into writing and you have to edit and rewrite over and over to perfect the story, but taking that first step of actually starting the story is crucial. It took me my entire life to finally put myself out there because I was afraid of what people would say. What if they didn't like my stories, etc. Finally I realized I was letting my dream pass me by on a what if. There is a flip side to that though; what if they do like it? What if my dreams could come true? No one becomes anything without actually trying!
Hiliary Amanda Good one.... Everything around me inspires me. My daily life I have said forever could be a sitcom. The drama you read on Facebook, dreams, silly things my kids say or get into, stories from my friends. I think creative minds that never stop running are constantly finding inspiration in everything.
Hiliary Amanda Well several things currently. I am working with a producer to perfect a script for Vanished in a Heartbeat to hopefully get it to market and made into a movie. Then I have several new books I am working on. One is a mystery while one is a cozy Hallmark type story. I have outlines ready for a prequel book featuring John from Vanished in a Heartbeat and several other outlines ready. A lot of big things upcoming that I am excited to share with everyone!
Hiliary Amanda Actually this is a crazy story. I have been writing since I was a kid, but you know life.....I had taken several years off and one night my husband woke up after having a dream. He was telling me about this dream and it sparked something inside me and I started writing Vanished in a Heartbeat.
