Ooooh, to actually go to? Probably Middle Earth, it seems survivable. But if I could be guaranteed superhuman powers then possibly Conan's Hyperboria. But never, ever, would I want to go to the Warhammer 40k setting. I am content to roll dice from afar for that one!

While I was doing my Archaeology degree I was rooting around some sewers under a church in the Czech Republic and stood before a medieval door embossed with a lifesize image of death, but the key alas was a little rusty. However after I "Fonzied" the door open the door led to a crypt and ossuary. What eldritch horrors lurk behind such doors is catnip for me in stories and I got to open one!
