My next book is a disjointed narrative of two souls lost to each other with the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Their search for each other encompasses several lives and parallel universes before they find themselves stranded by different apocalypses.
The inspiration for this book's metanarrative is Edgar Allan Poe's "The Conversation of Eiros and Charmion" and my interest in the idea of parallel universes. It's made-up of smaller narratives that give me a chance to explore different subgenres of horror and the paranormal.
In the end it will be up to the reader to decide if it's a novel or a collection of short stories.

The first novella in my first book, The Hidden Lives of Dick and Mary, comes from serving at Jefferson Barracks Air National Guard Station in St Louis, Missouri. The stories contained within are based on real hauntings at the base. However, there are several elements that have been fictionalized.
The second novella is about alien abduction and is inspired by people I know who have abduction experiences.
