I'm a creative person. I sculpt, paint, sketch, do lampworking, and graphic design. I'm a musician. I make darkwave/electronica music. Writing is just another creative medium. Existence inspires me. I know that sounds corny but, I don't really know how not to be creative. I get it from my mama.

DO IT! I know its a huge lift but, do it anyway. Birth this thing. Get out out into the world so you can point to it and say "I made this." Don't get hung up on worrying whether someone will read or even like it. Make it for you. Its your baby. You don't have to share it. I didn't want to but, friends and family changed my mind. Oh, and make sure you have at least a couple friends to challenge your logic and make sure you stick to your own rules.

I don't really consider myself a writer, but more of a storyteller. I guess the best thing would be having an awesome editor. I can just flow with my words and not pay much attention to the punctuation and tenses. :)

I have the opposite problem. I have writers overflow. Its like this tree that grows rapidly, and with too many branches. I don't know which ones to keep, or which ones to cut off.

I had this idea back in the late 90's to write a comic book with a friend of mine about a necromancer girl. She was kind of a hitter that used the dead to defend herself against bad guys. We never got around to completing it. I invested a lot of time into the character, and wanted to continue to write her story. Although this particular incarnation of Drucilla is quite different, there's still parts of the original story in her.
