Lacadia. I would live there. In a tiny little cabin on the coast of the water with my numbra. I would eat sandwiches and order coffees all day long in their magical bookstore.

The idea for Lacadia did not come to me all at once. It was a process that took me many months, and many years to wrap up. The idea started with who my characters are going to be, where they lived and how they typically acted. The rest of the story came to me when I was either making breakfast, driving or even taking a bath.

Write anyways. That sounds silly, but if I find I'm stumped writing a specific story, I try writing another or about something else. Just to get the juices flowing again.

I find writing to be very exciting. Some days, I have no energy (I have an 8 month old) but other days I map out my whole day according to baby sleep schedule. When I find it hard to write, instead I brainstorm and that helps kick my brain into high gear.

Im currently wrapping up my first novel, Lacadia The Lost Legacy. It is the first book in my fantasy series. Also, Ticker of Time is in the works (check out my books) and another murder mystery I have yet to reveal. I'm so excited for people to be able to start reading these books.

The best thing about being a writer is completely mapping out a book. I love dreaming up new ideas to add into my novels. Im also a huge fan of cliff-hangers and having questions from the beginning being answered in the end. When the reader goes "ohhhh, thats why they did that!" it's a very fun feeling.
