Debbie Sehulster We are currently creating a workbook to accompany our recently published book, Mindset Wizardry - the Magic Behind Thriving in a Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous World. This workbook will contain all of the reflection questions in the book along with some additional exercises and some new content that we use in our training programs. The workbook is a great reflection tool that will hold you accountable for taking the steps so you can thrive as you face extreme change.
Debbie Sehulster My inspiration to write always comes in spurts. When I'm feeling energized to write, I'm unstoppable and will be super creative and productive and in the flow. When I'm not inspired, I'm just staring at a blank screen - frustrated. Every writer experiences this feeling.

The strategy that works best for me is to distract myself with other activities. If I have a work project to do for my consulting company, I'll immerse myself in that. If I don't, then I'll take a walk, phone a friend or clean or fix something in my house. I always have a house project that needs to be done so I can find a way to keep myself busy. Playing with my dogs and cats also provides a great distraction.

Eventually, my inspiration will return. When we were writing Mindset Wizardry - the Magic Behind Thriving in a Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous (VUCA) World, my co-author and I found that we were motivated to write at different times and in different ways. We used our weekly Zoom calls to not only discuss ideas and progress but to keep each other going. Our combined positive energy REALLY helped when one of us was blocked! Keep the faith, your writer's block will disappear eventually!
