Would you ever write a spin-off book of the soul matcher series focused on other characters in the story like Heidi ? Her character was really interesting and it would be cool to explore her more. I loved the Princess's Pet and it's sequel.
J.K. Jeffrey Hi, I have plans for the series, I love Heidi and she will be back in the next book. The Borealis kingdom is a world I'm still building with a history and future full of stories to potentially write. Perhaps not a spin-off but a whole new set of characters, circumstances and romance.

Do you planning in keep writing about mistress/slave stories with vampires after finish The Princess Pet?
J.K. Jeffrey Hi Danilo, thanks for your question. Dark romance is my thing. Romance stories without power dynamics don't interest me and so I imagine every story I write will have some type of D/s.

But it won't always be vampires. I write dark paranormal lesbaina romances. This means my main characters can be all sorts of different creatures. In my next story the main characters are werewolf and werewolf hunter.

I'm sure I'll write more vampire characters in the future.

I loved The Princess's pet and the sequel. I saw that you felt there is not enough lesbian fantasy. I agree. So, I have been writing my own. I have a vampire novel. I wanted to find out how to share it with others who want lesbian sci/fi. I don't necessarily want published. Do you know of good forums or online groups to share work? I am desperate for more to read and for feedback from like-minded readers.
J.K. Jeffrey Hi Helen, I suggest writing on Wattpad to get feedback from readers. If you're looking for feedback from other writers, try looking for self-published author/writing groups in your area, meetup is a good app for finding writing/author groups if you're in the UK.

loved soul mated book 2 will you be doing a book 3 ?
J.K. Jeffrey Hi Kym, yes there will be a 3rd book in the series 😃 which I'm currently in the thinking stage for. Meaning I haven't started writing it yet, the characters are still playing out various possibilities in my head. At the moment I'm writing another story (different characters and world) which is a werewolf lesbian romance. It'll be a standalone novel and I hope to have it out before the new year. After that project is complete I'll be ready to start work on Percy and Selene's story.

Are you planning a Princess's Pet audiobook? Or do you want to record one?
J.K. Jeffrey Hi Emma, thanks for your question. I'm not currently planning an audiobook. But maybe one day. I like to occasionally listen to audiobooks myself when traveling or exercising (I'm currently listening to The Witcher, the last wish). So while an audiobook isn't in my current plans, it might be a possibility in the future. At the moment I'm focusing on getting my next book ready for release and working on another book.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
J.K. Jeffrey I don't feel like a writer.

But the best thing about writing for me is how all consuming a story can be. If I'm really interested in the characters, their world and relationships, it becomes all I can think about. Creating a new world and bringing it to life through writing is a joyful experience.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
J.K. Jeffrey I don't know. Usually a character will pop into my head already in the middle of their story. Then I start discovering how they got there and what happens next.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
J.K. Jeffrey Write. Don't keep your stories and ideas locked away inside. Write it down.

Ignore people that say you're wasting your time or mock your efforts. Writing is an art, a passion, and not necessarily a commercial endeavour. If you love writing, if writing gives you pleasure or releases stress, don't allow the opinios of others stop you.

J.K. Jeffrey I'm currently working on the sequel to The Princess's Pet.

How do you get inspired to write?
J.K. Jeffrey For inspiration I workout. I set up my playlist with my favourite music, so I can loudly sing along and start my workout. Around the middle of my routine, my mind starts wandering and I come up with my best ideas.

J.K. Jeffrey Wait it out. I can't force myself to write.
