Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Delton Wright The inspiration behind A Gray Homecoming - A Cam Marshall Mystery was my hometown and the memories that I made there. The story was 1A along with the backdrop of the city.

What books are on your summer reading list this year?
Delton Wright Great question. I would like to finish the Easy Rawlings series written by Walter Mosley. I’ve started the latest book in The Hunger Games series as well.

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?
Delton Wright That’s a great question. If anything from my life would make a great mystery, it would have to be my job choices and professional work career. I’ve had a lot of jobs in my lifetime and the correlation between them all would make a great book (it would be fun to write it I’m sure).

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Delton Wright Writer's block is very real! The best method that I've found to handle it is to take an afternoon or evening away from your writing. I also like to re-read the last few paragraphs that I've written at that point.

How do you get inspired to write?
Delton Wright I was inspired to write many years ago after a family member passed away. I wanted to create stories so that a part of me would always be around... and I love the concept of mysteries!
