I often find that I have lines for poems which come to me when I am out walking or when I am about to fall asleep. Neither of which is particularly conducive to note taking! Sometimes I have to get out of bed, plod to my desk and download the whole poem that seems to have arrived! That happened with my poem 'The Desert'. My poem 'I'm in ring with me again' came to me whilst in the shower, 'Yummy Mummy' whilst I was running the kids' bath and 'I love my legs' chuntered around my head for a good few months before the rest of the poem arrived!
