To live a thousand lives and share the experience, so someone might get intertainment even just for a moment, - perhaps they can relate or dream the same dream.
To use words to bring joy, lust, passion, anger, happiness, sadness or any other feéling is a thrilling experience.
To me writing is a way of beeing creative just as when I paint or draw, some might use music to telle a story or feeling, I use words - it is a way of expression and a way to find peace or focus when my mind is full of worries.

If I don´t have a deadline I accept it and give myself permission to have a break form writing. I often write on different stories, so if one isn´t working I choose an other.
Sometimes a breake is all that is needed, sometimes a different topic og small excecises, like describing something, and the words come easier after a while. o
An other trick is to just write random words for a while just to get the fingers on the keyboard, then after a while describe somethig you see or a thing you have done og wants to do.
There are a lot of teknics but most important to remember is that most writers experience it and it is normal. The ability will come back to you if you want it to. like sex ;-)

I am writing on a two part follow up to EN ROSE FOLDER SIG UD, so the story will become 4 parts in total. I an writing on a series on four shortstories aswell and a cople of stand alones, while editing.

Don´t worry so much if you do it right or become the new J.K. Rowlings or Stephany Meyer, Write because you enjoy it.
It might not become a book to be published, but just writing is a good start, then you can sort out timeline and plot when you are ready.
Many begin with outlining caracteres, timeline, plot and environment that might work for you too, but don´t get upset if your mind works differently, just do it as you feel to get startet.
I write first draft on my phone, then built and eddit on my laptop, some use a notebook, some only the computer, see what fit your mood and stile.
You will do fine, and when you think you are finished put the book away for a while, take it out and go though it again, be critical - if you see a mistake, fix it, your reader are more critical, so do it right from the start and then get somone to read it get every thought they think, sort it out and use what feels right. do it a cople of times befor even thinking of sending it to a publisher.

I get inspired from everday moments or things I see, hear or wunder about. People like to tell me their dreams, fantasies and experiences, which sometimes get me inspired og curious on a subject.
I might turn it into a story, not their story, but my version.
When I write I kind of listen to the caracters who tell me what they like an how they want to behave, so I get into their mindset when I write a story and write from their point of view.

I were lieing in my hammock enjoying a good book, the sun and the birds sing when i heard a lowed noise from the nextdoor neighbour. I haven´t met the new neighbours yet, so I start fantasizing who it could be by the saw ... I guess you get the picture ;-) Quite fast I had an idea, and the shortstory was progressing. I hope you will enjoy
