Not really a mystery but kind of. I have a rare eye disease, so I'm slowly going blind. One of my characters will also experience this, so I'm bringing a lot of my own feelings and experiences to this character. Cathartic and empowering all at the same time.

Honestly, just go for it. I learned that the hard way, delaying my ideas and not writing when I wanted to. I saw a message one day that simply said, "You can" and that was the motivation for me. You can!

I get to create a world all my own. They do and say everything I want them to, so it's fun to "create" people in my vision. As far as being a writer, the best part is connecting with my readers and reconnecting with readers I've had for many years.

Right now I'd say Shaw Creek, Wyoming. (The current fictional town of my series.) I'd love to meet my characters up close and personal.

I listen to music, daydream, leave it alone for a bit, or I write my way through it. If it sucks, I delete it and write something else. Most times, for me, writer's block is all about learning a way to push through it.

Book 1 of a 7 book series about military men, NSA agents, and U.S. Marshals working together to stop human traffickers. With love stories spun in.

News reports on human trafficking and my love of romantic suspense. I also love series books where the characters are in every single book of the series. So I combined the loves and built my series. :)

Music. Always music. I either listen and daydream, letting the vibe of the music take my creativity on a ride, or I let it get me into the mood of the music. (Sad, happy, angry, etc.) Whatever I need in my writing, music usually gets me there.
