Jade Griffin Give the project a break, move on to another project, reread what inspires me in the project, or just write the part that I want to and not write it chronologically.
Jade Griffin The fires lit within me, the truly alive feeling I have jotting down the thoughts, feelings, and situations of imaginary people, and then trying to share them with others who hopefully care enough to listen or read. How ironic.
Jade Griffin Don't stop writing. And you really should read. I should read. I don't read enough. I'm not sure anyone does. You are a writer if you write, an author if you create, and a published author only if you put yourself out there.
Jade Griffin Currently doing Camp NaNoWriMo and writing the second Lacy Moore Journals book, plus the third in a series of tabletop roleplaying games for the Call of Cthulhu system (Amor Fati: "Mail-Order Bribe"). I am also working on pitching my 12-years-running webcomic into a Middle Grade Fantasy Graphic Novel (56shards.com), , and at any given time I am working on fanfictions, small pieces for my role as an Illustrator Coordinator for Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), and the various stories I have started over the last 30 years that bug for my attention.
Jade Griffin Oh, many things inspire me: the shape of a cloud, something a friend says, the antics of my children, a documentary... So much inspiration out there! At times, I will hear a character's name in my head and that starts a whole series of books.
Jade Griffin The Lacy Moore journals are a companion short story to my Call of Cthulhu tabletop roleplaying game adventures for sale on http://drivethrurpg.com. You can find them under "Jade Griffin". So far I have two adventures published: "Taken For Granite" and "Deep-Seeded Secrets". Check them out if you want to experience Lovecraftian horror in a ttrpg setting!
