For me it's not about inspiration. It's about discipline and once I get going, then I can use that momentum to keep going until I finish. Even on days when I really don't want to write, if I can just get started then it can be hard to stop.

I have a few projects floating around. I have a completed draft about a Fae changeling that I'm having critiqued. I also have a new idea that I'm still in the beginning phases of drafting. And I have ideas for more Mortals & Shadows books that I'm anxious to get started on.

If you want to write, then do it. I wasted several years thinking I didn't have the time and not making writing a priority. It can take effort to fit writing into an already busy schedule, but if it's something that you really want then you have to fight for it.

I keep writing. I may take a day or two to get a little distance, but I can't work through a problem without writing the physical words. There may be a lot of false starts and deleting, but eventually the right words come.

I have several books waiting on my kindle, including The Baine Chronicles, The Thaw Chronicles, and the Darklight series. I've also heard rumors that Patrick Rothfuss is finally releasing the third Kingkiller book this summer, and if that's true I will drop everything for it.
