J.T. Mather The escapism, being able to create whatever your imagination can conjure. There really are no limits.
J.T. Mather I've always been a fan of fantasy, monsters and adventures, so I took my inspiration from various books and movies. The Hobbit, King Kong, and the old Sindbad movies were always fascinating to me.
J.T. Mather I like scribble ideas down in a notepad. When a good one takes shape, I can't wait to then get to the keyboard to write it in full. Always keep some paper and a pen to hand, you never know when the next idea will arrive!
J.T. Mather Karadas: The Veiled Realm book 2 - the follow up book to Spectre of Destiny. I have received the edit back and the cover is underway. Very exciting, but lots to work on.
J.T. Mather I would say go for it 100%. If I can write a book with no experience or impressive school grades, then you can too. It’s never too early or late to start. Write about what you love and do it for the enjoyment it brings, rather than chasing any dreams of fame and fortune. Create your own style and stick to it. Listen to feedback and advice, but don’t let it sway your gut feeling - if you enjoy reading your work, others will. Do it for yourself, and never give up.
J.T. Mather Maybe do some editing on a previous chapter. If you're not feeling it that day, just accept it and don't let it get you down. There's always tomorrow.
