Inspiration comes from the world around me. It sounds corny, but experiences in my life inspire me to write. Strong emotions inspire me the most, whether it be anger, happiness, love, or hate.

My most recent book was never meant to be a book. I write poetry several times a week. I noticed a theme when I put the poetry in a word document and decided to make it into a book. My ideas come from my life and my personal experiences.

Anyone can be a writer. I'm of the opinion that you are a writer as long as you write. That's all it takes. Getting published is a whole other issue.

I deal with writer's block by stepping back and taking a break. If I feel too overwhelmed to write, I need space to relax and figure out how to move forward. That being said, I take a long time to finish projects.
