I got the idea for my most recent book way back in high school when I would get bored in class, I thought to myself “Man what if some Secret Service guy just walked into this room and said they needed to take some of us away? What if he wasn’t Secret Service, but some other group that was so clandestine and deadly that simply mentioning their name demanded people listen?” Thus, Black Spear was born.
