My education, training & experience is in psychology. I'm interested in the recent rise of individual & family dysfunction - domestic abuse, mental illness, narcissism, violence, substance abuse etc. And then someone I know went through a traumatic situation of narcissistic abuse within his own family, and there's a prominent public figure who exhibits symptoms of Malignant Narcissistic Personality Disorder, so a story that explores the effects of such dysfunction on family members developed, addressing the imperative to save others vs the struggle to save oneself.

Gavin, the MC from 'Secrets In The Mirror,' experienced a lot of trauma in that story. He told me the plot of "what comes next" in a dream! But he's suffering from CPTSD, so he's not helping much with writing the sequel, so I'm working on it. I still don't have a title, so I may have to ask y'all for some suggestions!
