I wanted Caroline to be in a different location for number four in the series, and I wanted to push her character a little bit as it's been relatively plain sailing up to that point. Let's just say, she finds 1929 full of change!

Editing the second in the series, "The Price of Coal", and thinking about how I'm going to edit the third and what to have on the covers. My designer John at Chandler Design Associates in Norfolk did a wonderful job on Catching Up and I will be using him for the rest of the series.

I don't worry too much about it. I find the less I try and think what my characters should be doing, the more likely they are to creep onto my shoulder and tell me themselves. I have plenty of other interests to keep me occupied while I'm waiting.
