Reading other books helps inspire my desire to write but I've always had stories running through my head from an early age. It was six years ago that I finally got the nerve to give it a try (with fanfic) and I've been having a great time writing ever since.

I'll answer for both my published books. I actually work in the legal profession and there's this judge... NO, nothing inappropriate has happened between us (he's a total gentleman) but he is devilishly handsome with a very nice voice (you know what I mean) and he 'inspired' Judge Wolfe.

A bad day at the keyboard usually means I need a break. Walking, swimming or (when things are desperate) video games help me take my mind off the words that aren't coming for a while. I've not had long bouts of writer's block so far though and I'm grateful for that!

I started off writing fanfic which was a great place to practice writing and get some feedback while learning what worked and didn't work for me. Also, writing is a lonely endeavor so it's very helpful if you have a writer friend you can share stuff with and bounce ideas off of.
