Emma Whittaker Don't think too much about what you are writing. Get it all out first whenever you feel the urge. There is plenty of time to edit and perfect your work later. Let the words just rain out from your soul and leave the structuring until later. If you feel that fire about something you have written, never, ever give up.
Emma Whittaker It is so therapeutic to get thoughts out in words. Life's pleasures are great to capture and even negative encounters or events can be turned into characters and storylines. And I love the fact that no one can criticize accuracy or fact in any fabricated narrative. It's fiction after all!
Emma Whittaker Walking in the countryside with my dogs helps to focus my mind and listening to the right music never fails to get the words flowing.
Emma Whittaker It's got to be Willy Wonka's chocolate factory! I'd swim down the chocolate river, experience an everlasting gobstopper and taste that lickable wallpaper!
Emma Whittaker Little Nothings by Julie Mayhew
Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid
It Ends With Us by Coleen Hoover
Emma Whittaker Life has always been full of inspiration for me. I draw on my own experiences or things that I feel strongly about. Family dramas have always featured quite high since childhood and as I am actively passionate about nature and conservation, I would love to write something based on the threat of development in the historical and rural area where I live.
