Bob Palmer One piece of feedback from early readers was that they wanted to see more of my protagonist, George. As one reviewer said, despite George's cantankerous personality, '...you just can’t help but love him. I wish I had a friend like George.'

Writing for George's character is fun, so that's why I'm writing a sequel. I hope to release it in spring 2023.
Bob Palmer I love the idea of sliding doors moments, where seemingly inconsequential events can turn a life in a new direction. We've all probably had one of those but often never stopped to consider what the catalyst was. And I wondered what would happen if someone set out to manipulate someone else's life. I had to consider the butterfly effect, where a single event might create another event, and another... I came to the conclusion that messing with people's lives can be dangerous.
