Mostly it's just when side characters in the book before suddenly decide that they have a story too.
Lost by Chance came about because I wanted to write something different. I already have plus sized FMC and MMC's, but diversity is really important to me. Sebastian the MMC in Lost by Chance, uses a mobility aid because of an accident. As someone who is using a cane at the moment, it was important to show that those with disabilities still have compelling love stories. Seb is also Demisexual and in the book he comes out, in his 30's. As a bi-woman, it was really important for me to have queer representation. And not just the LGBT of the alphabet mafia.

I don't really keep an active TBR, instead just grabbing whatever takes my fancy. I have a few ARCs and Beta reader projects I'm involved with so they will take priority over anything else. I may reread a few favourites.

Current work is called Lost by Chance and is book four in my Degrees of Separation series.
The story follows Catherine and Sebastian who at the start of the story have been friends for six years. Catherine has been dating Sebastian's younger brother for five of those years but Joshua breaks up with her out of the blue. She enlists Sebastian's help to win him back... Unfortunately, Sebastian has a pocketful of secrets which gradually come out through the story.
Catherine grew up in Chelsea, London and starts as the typical 'It girl'.
