What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Allison Anders The hours! :-) But also getting to take these crazy ideas floating around in my head and turning them into something real. And seeing that folks like my stories, when they do, is incredibly gratifying.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Allison Anders My most recent one involves a woman who finds the opportunity to finally have her way with a longtime online crush who ghosted her, and yeah, there are a few kernels of my life online in it.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Allison Anders I try to keep two or three books/ideas started at time, and if one's blocking me, I shift to another one instead.

How do you get inspired to write?
Allison Anders I think about something I'd like to do to a guy, or seen done to one, then I think about what kind of guy and what kind of woman would be involved, and I run from there.

What are you currently working on?
Allison Anders Another femdom novel. Shocking, right? This one's exploring hypnosis, which I've only dealt with once in a short story so far.
