I absolutely love that I get to live a hundred different lives. Creating new worlds and characters is exciting and freeing. Discovering who they all are, and how they live and love, and grow is a blessing. Writing and creating is a cathartic and amazing way to work through life and love and sometimes trauma.

Oh yeah, writer's block can be painfully real and so frustrating. It can be almost unbearable to live with all these characters in your head day in and day out and then have their voices suddenly missing. They are bursting with the excitement of getting their stories out, and as an author and creative, you love them and want to get it all down on paper. And then, when you finally have time to do so, it's eerily quiet. That demanding voice in your head is MIA, and you have no idea where to start or pick up.
When writer's block hits, I try to relax and distract myself with a cup of coffee, yoga, or a walk outside. Take a bath or a shower. I change my headspace, and more often than not, the words start to flow again.
