I don't typically get writer's block. But I don't force myself to sit down and write, either. I write when the energy is there to write, and I focus on other things if it isn't. It all seems to work out.

As I was working my way out of the grip of narcissistic abuse, I kept thinking of topics that I could offer more information about to help others heal. Last September, I went on sabbatical to write this book. The day after I closed my counseling practice, the entire outline tumbled out of me and onto the page. This book is one I wish I'd had while going through the process of healing.

Currently, I'm working on getting Brave Love 365: Daily Inspiration, Validation, and Support for Survivors of Narcissistic Abuse and Toxic Relationships launched. Once everything is in place, then I will continue to work on Brave Love: Alexia's Journey, which is a fictional account of one woman's journey from a narcissistic relationship into a beautiful new life of her own choosing. Her journey of healing the past is woven through the pages and gives us all a reference point of how we and our lives can change when we commit to ourselves and our healing.
