My son is also obsessed with the Academy series and has read all five books. Now he is listening to the audiobooks (books 2 & 3) on repeat. But we can't seem to get Book 1 any tips? We're searching on Audible/Amazon but it's saying they're unavailable. Also, any idea when book 4 audiobook will be released? Thank you so much for creating this series!!
T.Z. Layton Hi Jessica, the series is moving to a new publisher (Sourcebooks) and there is going to be a slight delay, a few weeks at most, before the books and audiobooks are back on pre-order. They will be released again starting in September (Books 1 and 2); January (3 and 4); March (5); and May (6). Sorry about the delay!

My son is irrationally depressed that he is done reading the series and keeps saying “they should make a movie!!” Is there a chance this will become a movie? Please say yes 😆

Hi, my son is a HUGE fan of the Academy series, he has listened to book 1 and 2 multiple times as an audio book. Can I ask are there plans to release part 3 and part 4 as audiobooks?
T.Z. Layton Yes, the entire series will be on audiobook. Book III will be out later this year.

When does the 4th book come out? I read the first three in a span of a week and absolutely loved them!! I recommend them to some of my students and other students that I tutor that love soccer. I am dying to know what happens to Leo!

T.Z. Layton Hi Nathaniel, no need to apologize! Yes, highlighting players and cultures from around the world is central to Leo's journey. After all, this is true for the real academies as well: players come from all over and are learning about each other as human beings as much as they are practicing fancy moves and competing to be the best.

T.Z. Layton As a soccer player myself, I've always wondered what it would be like to attend a Premier League Youth Academy. So I decided to do some research and find out, then write a fun story about it!
