Let me come back in ten years, when I'm no longer an aspiring writer myself, but my only advice is: keep writing. Write for you before all else, and the audience will come. Write even on your bad days, but don't force it. It's okay to take a break. It isn't admirable to push yourself to a point that isn't healthy for yourself, just to achieve a numbered goal. Take it easy, baby.

Most of my inspiration comes from music. I'll often find a lyric, or if I'm lucky, a whole song, that makes me feel compelled to describe how it resonates with me. Also, like a lot of people, other works inspire me. Be it, style, tone, subject matter, or just being so engrossed in a piece that it makes me want to get off my butt and write!
