Also, dwelling into the moment for a bit and allowing yourself to languish, but not get stuck, is sometimes good. 15-20 minutes of pure blockage is sometimes good for the soul, as it inspires deeper, more intentional thinking. My biggest surprise was the clarity and learning that came to me as a writer. I enjoy the process more than I thought I would. There is something magical about taking what is in your mind and getting it down on paper. I don't ever think I will ever stop doing this, even if no one ever reads it. Just doing it for me is good enough reason.

I wanted to get down on paper my experiences over the last 34+ years of my career, and give back to younger employees. I have been journaling since I was 21 and enjoy writing, but forming a book took it to a whole new level.

In Feb 2022 I wanted to get a PhD and write a book as a way to stay positive and constructive. I dropped the PhD idea, but in that process it led my to my co-authors. We worked 1.5 years remotely before we met face to face. I learned so much in the process!
