J.A. Cox Often the best word to use is the one that fits the situation best. You would be surprised how a simple word such as sad could convey the feelings much greater than using melancholy or even dejected. It really all depends on the circumstances and your writing style. On top of that, the description of emotions in facial features as well as gestures prior to or after would further strengthen what is trying to be conveyed.
J.A. Cox Everyday life is my greatest inspiration. I write based on the saying that life is stranger than fiction and often feel that authors fail to realize the simplicity of the fantastic things in reality that blow the mind when trying to make something up. I say just take a deep breath and really take a look at the amazing things that God has created that surround you and it will be easy to find inspiration.
