I lived in Australia for three years and I fell in love with the country. It was also the first country that I took my son to for a vacation. I wanted to share my love for Australia with my readers first.

I wrote the first version of my book almost 20 years ago. I did not intend to make a career out of it, but when I realized that I'm most passionate about inspiring families to learn about other countries and cultures and traveling abroad, I knew this book was going to be the start of a great series!
