A story can be a product produced entirely by you. Other creative processes depends on finances, teams and other contributors, but writing is something you can have complete creative control over. In that way it is a very satisfying process.

Write the book you want to read yourself. Think about your story when you don’t have a book, at the bus, on a plane, while waiting for someone. It gives me great joy. Put your phone down, and look out a window instead. Then write the chapter when you get home.

I am working on a novel set in the South of France. A bit of summer, but maybe also a New Years Eve scene? I can at least promise a love story filled with confusions.
