I hope manga counts, because I'd pick JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. It's similar to the real world, of course, so maybe it's not the most exciting choice - I just think it'd be cool. I don't know if I'd have a Stand, but I like to wonder what mine would be if I did!

With difficulty. I find reading helps: good books, because it's fun to see different authors' narrative techniques; bad books, because they make you think "Oh, I could do better than that!".

The basic premise was my partner's - he gets the credit for that. One night, before bed, he said, out of nowhere, "What if you wrote a story where there's a guy who's wife is dead and he wishes her back, but it goes wrong?" (paraphrasing because I was very sleepy). I thought it sounded interesting, so I kind of let it brew in my head overnight and started writing "As You Wish" the next day.
