David B. Bond Write what you enjoy and what you feel inside and just go for it. As a first time book writer, I can assure you that you will feel at least 2 things after you publish a book: 1. A sense of accomplishment (which is a nice feeling). 2. A sense of joy when readers share their positive experiences after reading the story, whether it's the plot, setting or particular character(s) they could relate to in some way.
David B. Bond After finishing the first book in the series, I am currently working on the second book titled 'The Cemetery 6: Festival of Fear.' 9 short stories with a back story all based in different locations in Thailand.
David B. Bond By traveling to interesting new places and meeting new people from different backgrounds and cultures. Also, by reading other author's books. There are so many great stories.
David B. Bond I was actually riding my bicycle one afternoon getting some daily exercise on the outskirts of Nan, Thailand when I rode past an old cemetery. The cemetery is several hundred years old and has mostly above ground tombs. As I passed by, a strong breeze came out of nowhere and clouds formed overhead and a creepy vide came over me. I began thinking, what if a group of people (let's say some teens came out here to gather and tell stories at night? ) And what if the cemetery had some secrets it was keeping?
