Andi Bergold Frost and Moonshine came from several things. Mostly, the idea for it came from similar books such as The Cruel Prince, A Kingdom of Iron and Wine, Harry Potter, etc.
Andi Bergold I tend to have racing thoughts all the time due to ADHD, so my brain never shuts up when it comes to new ideas for books. Anything can give me inspiration, from movies, to pictures of fantasy art, even the sound of someone's voice.
Andi Bergold For the rest of 2023, I've been busy outlining a few new releases I have planned for Spring of 2024. Currently in the middle of drafting book 2 to Hellebore Academy, revising Sin of Eves, and plotting a few others books. But I can't say much, because it's a secret.
Andi Bergold Don't think, just write. Your first draft is going to be trash and that's okay. It takes practice to make something wonderful, but don't give up if your book isn't going how you want it. There's no deadline to getting published. And remember, you may hate your work, but someday you'll become someone's favourite author.
Andi Bergold The creative control. Plus, I love when readers get so hyped for a new release.
