Jeff McIntyre I'm a planner. I start with an outline before I write much of the story. But even if the outline isn't 100% (they never are), I'll write a chapter that inspires me. I also don't write the outline linearly. If I just wrote chapter 5 but I'm not feeling chapter 6; I'll find a chapter that does inspire me and write that. I can always blend things back together after the first draft is done. If I don't feel like writing at all, I may just play around with the outline.

Jeff McIntyre Book 2! Stay tuned for what I'm tentatively calling "The M Word"
Jeff McIntyre Honestly, feedback from friends, family, and fans. Even negative feedback. People enjoying my stories is a good shot in the arm and negative feedback makes me want to write better.
Jeff McIntyre This story idea all originated from the question, "What would happen to our current world if magic were to suddenly appear."
