Don't just assume you know what you're doing because you have a good story. Having a good story is only part of the puzzle. You have to be able to *tell* a good story, which is something I believe can be learned. So learn! Study the art. Practice your craft. Grow as a writer. And don't give up!

I attended a summer Irish dance program at the University of Limerick in Ireland back in 2017. I heard all sorts of stories about ban sidhe's (banshee), Giant's Causeway and Fionn Mac Cumhaill, the fae, and a few other legends native to Ireland. From there, a story began forming in my head, and eventually, I had Mother of the River.
