I am currently working on a Fantasy Trilogy. The first book is called "Of Ash and Dust" and is being published chapter by chapter on Wattpad. The story follows a fae princess as she tries to restore the balance of magic to her island. This story features several LGBTQ+ characters and characters of color.
I also have the very rough beginnings of a sequel to "Crashing Into You" called "Holding Onto You."

"Crashing Into You" is based on a nightmare that I had in 2016. In the nightmare, I was a teenaged boy locked in a closet. I pounded my fists against the closet door as a voice from the other side read Bible verses about sin, specifically verses about homosexuality. Soon, I gave up pounding on the door but for each verse the voice read at me, I responded with a verse about God's unconditional love.
"Crashing Into You" was originally supposed to be a lot darker and be more about Tristan's inner struggles with his own identity.
In the end, Tristan as a character turned out to be more sure of himself, and the story became more focused on the romance. And no one ended up locked in a literal closet.
