I regularly smile as i write, mainly when I add some humorous dialogue or I come up with a great plot on the spot. The creative side is what makes being an author wonderful.

Simple, I take a break until my brain starts working again, however long it takes. Luckily it doesn't happen too often.

My favourite book of all time is Lord of the Rings, so I would visit that fictional world to see it with my own eyes. Then, I think I'd train as a wizard, I think i'd make a good wizard!

At the moment I am enjoying the books by Jack Gatland, M.G. Cole, Mark Romain and JD Kirk.

Try and write every day, even if it is only a few hundred words. The book may seem a daunting project, but each day you will be closer to finishing it. Also, write about something you enjoy, not something that others may enjoy.

I am working on Book 3 of the 'Summary Justice' series, which is called 'Road trip'. It will be finished in December and launched in February next year.

For many years as a surveillance officer I sat in a car waiting for something to happen. I used that time to learn and especially read many, many books. It got to the point where I thought, 'I can do better than this', and so the author seed was planted!

I have been wanting to write about summary justice for many years. As a serving police officer it was very frustrating to see just how many criminals got away with their crimes despite evidence that made it clear they were guilty. So the 'Summary Justice' series focuses on dishing out justice exactly how it should be, where it hurts the criminals the most!
