Ellie Bell Yes — the character was inspired by my daughter. As a child, she adored colourful dresses that twirled when she spun. Whenever she felt sad or upset, I would ask her gently: “Would you like to stay upset and lose the rest of your day, or solve this and go enjoy it?” Over time, I saw her grow into a resilient, emotionally aware young woman — and that journey became the heart of the story.
Ellie Bell Yes — Eddie is actually a nickname we use for my son! In real life, he had a bunny he adored, but when I started imagining stories, a dog felt more interactive and playful for young readers. So Bobo became Eddie’s partner in everyday adventures.
Ellie Bell I’ve always loved telling stories — especially while raising my daughter and son. I used to make up bedtime tales, and over time those little stories turned into books. I want to create stories that feel safe, warm, and imaginative — something children can connect with emotionally.
