Since starting the Wolf Hall trilogy, I was oddly obsessed with wondering what I would do and whom I would seek out were I to be transported back in time to then. How would I even stay alive and not be hanged for putting a foot wrong in some catastrophic misjudgment. The only tool I would have would be knowledge – so I guess I would try to seek out Cromwell, and barter that knowledge of history to stay alive. I'm always wonder why people think time travel sounds fun. It seems terrifying to me.

No idea yet. My usual summer reading would be one or two spy thrillers (I'll try to find a McCarry or a Littell or an Ignacious I haven't read yet, something like that), one or two music books, and something I hope will make me laugh.
