Believe it or not, I get inspired by reading online articles, social media, or magazine articles (although there aren't that many magazines around anymore.) Even a Facebook meme can be my source of inspiration.
Sometimes, a social media post will set me off in a fury of research, which may lead me to a completely different topic, and the next thing I know I've spent 4 hours reading things I never intended to read. It really gets my juices flowing, and the words just flow.

I have been writing bits and pieces of my book for the past two years. I have always wanted to tell "my story" of what it is like growing up and dealing with life as a person with a disability.
April 2022, I came perilously close to dying. I had a miracle surgery that saved my life. As I was recovering, I realized how close I came to never fulfilling my life's ambition to write a book. From June through October, I put all my thoughts together, and I'm very proud of the book that was the result.
